My *Favorites* Movies Of The Year (so far)

The summer blockbuster season is almost upon us, and there are quite a few exciting movies to look forward to. So, this feels like a good time to look back and list my favorite movies of the year so far.

• Obsession: I really loved this movie. It isn’t as scary as some people online said it would be, but it’s definitely very creepy.
• Disclosure Day: Not Steven Spielberg’s finest movie, but still an interesting watch nonetheless.
• The Rip: Now this is a movie that’s right up my alley. A great cast, a simple but entertaining plot, and plenty of suspense throughout. Loved it!
• Warmachine: If you love this genre, you’re going to love this movie. If you don’t, you’re probably going to think it’s the worst movie of the year.
• Hokum: Another genuinely creepy movie with some excellent jump scares.
• Project Hail Mary: I finished the book and went straight to the cinema to watch the movie. The verdict: great book, good movie.
• The Bluff: There aren’t enough pirate movies, and this is a great one.
• Primate: This was the perfect Friday evening movie. Nothing more, nothing less.
• Apex – Kaw!

I wasn’t that impressed with Michael, The Housemaid, Send Help and Thrash.
